ARTOTEL Sanur Bali

Wonderful hotel with outstanding staff! It is perfectly located on a 5 minutes walk from the beach; a lot of options for food and drinks around. Sanur is a good location if you plan a trip to Nusa Penida, too, since the harbour is at a 10 mins drive. Very varied and big breakfast buffet; their rooftop pool is really nice, and the beds are super comfy. I asked for a quiet room, and I was not disappointed: I could fall asleep to the sound of birds chirping. The staff goes above and beyond for you: a special thank to Manik who found me a perfect driver (Putu Edi) who drove me all the way around the island for a very honest price and also gave me a lot of useful tips and took pictures of me. Their SPA has competitive prices: try the Balinese massage with Koming, and you won't regret it!

At the Artotel, the staff were very friendly and greeted me often. I felt welcomed. The rooms are modern but simple. The balcony was a bit old and odd, and the view wasn’t the best, but I enjoyed it nonetheless (I was able to view the busy street below). The property was so close to the beach, shops and markets which I liked. The spa was amazing! The Drea gave me 2 amazing treatments. The rooftop view, pool, the bar food and entertainment were great!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by everyone. Due to our flight time, We were very early and just wanted to leave our bags. One of our party booked a spa treatment. We were checked in and left our bags, went out, returning at 10am. We had coffee in the restaurant and before 11am they had prepared our room which was very welcome. The room was lovely- cool, dark and comfortable with good facilities and funky decor without being too much. Breakfast was included and it was lovely. We had a misunderstanding around happy hour cocktails but Eric was very gracious and sorted it out to our advantage. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly. The massage we had was great. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked fine. The atmosphere of the whole place was very chill but professional.

Staff is always authentically friendly and helpful. hotel is still quite new and therefore in good shape. I hope they can keep the bathrooms clean. Overall size and decor is perfect for my taste. location w.r.t. what’re activities in Sanur is pretty good. Also close to plenty of food options. Rooftop bar and pool is small but nice. WiFi is not great but more than decent.
